This is a rich, robust American Red Ale with a seductively smooth, full body and a balanced, herbal hoppy finish. Lots of Caramel malt and Special Roast provide a deep red color and sweet, nutty malt flavor, and a touch of oats adds a velvety mouthfeel. Dry hopping with a blend of German and American hops yields a satisfying complexity in the aroma and finish.
